Two of the messages lie. “There is no escape” It’s actually fairly easy to escape. They don’t continue chasing you, after a certain distance they lose aggro. “It can’t even be touched” As seen in the video, just parry them.

Believe it or not, this was my first real boss of the game... I'm opening all the areas without beating any boss.

There are a couple of bosses you can cheese. I found some good cheese for the ghostflame dragon and Black Knight Edredd. There is a cliff to the immediate left you can get on and hide behind things and not be hit for the dragon and the knight will follow you downstairs and wolf go over the cages. Easy peasy 😂

If you don't get good now, your going to regret it later.

I finished the dlc and the only boss I deeply struggled on for a few DAYS was commander gaius and now that I’m seeing this I will never give him the advantage again
